What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are hyaluronic acid injections used to fill out wrinkles and creases in the skin, they are injected under the skin to replace or add volume.

What areas do you treat?

The lips, nasolabial folds (smile lines) and marionette lines (jowls)

How quickly do you see results / how long does it last?

Results are immediate and typically it lasts for 6-18 months. However everyones body is different so for some it may be less and others more.

What are the benefits?

It plumps and adds volume the skin creating a more youthful look.

Are there any side effects?

There may be some bruising and swelling in the first few days.

What are the aftercare instructions?

Dont drink alcohol for 24 hours to help you heal faster. Take arnica tablets to help minimise bruising. Avoid any strenuous exercise for a few days

What does the procedure involve?

You will be given some numbing cream to self administer and while that gets to work we will run through your consent form and have a full consultation to discuss your desired results and for me to manage your expectations. Often you will need a few sessions to build up to the look you want. Then the treatment will begin. I will be injecting a 30mm gauge needling and administer small amounts of hylartonicacid filler to create a beautiful shaped lip
