Can I wear makeup with extensions?
Yes of course, how you wear it and take it off is important. Using anything oil based will affect the retention of lashes as the oil in your makeup (mascara, eyeliner and even eyeshadow) will breakdown the glue, causing extensions to shed prematurely. If you do wear makeup, make sure you are cleaning your lashes TWICE a day, using a lash cleansing brush to get in-between the extensions and down to the lash line. Careful not to use anything with fibres (face wipes . cotton pads etc) too close to the extensions as this will catch and pull them.
What happens if I don’t wash my lashes properly?
If you don’t wash your lashes properly or often enough you will have a build up of oil, dirt, dead skin cells, makeup and nasty bacteria. If this continues you will develop an infection called Blepharitis. If left untreated, in severe cases it has lead to blindness. It is easy to treat if sorted early. I will remove your lashes and you can go to the pharmacy and ask them to prescribe something for you.
Do eyelash extensions damage my natural lashes?
Nope! If you come for regular infills, have a lash tech who practises safe lash application and you clean your lashes regularly there should be no cause for damage whatsoever!
How long do extensions last?
I recommend coming in for infills every 2-3 weeks to keep them looking full and fresh, not to mention healthy (depending on your lash cycle). If you never came for an infill you can expect it to take 6-8 weeks for all extensions to fall off completely.
What is a Lash Cycle?
All the hair on your body has a natural growth cycle. The lash cycle is about 6-8 weeks long, so in that time you will shed and regrow every natural lash. There are about 120 lashes per upper eyelid and we shed 1-4 lashes per day.
Which infill should I book?
If you have roughly 120 lashes per eye and shed on average 2 lashes per eye, after two weeks you’ve lost roughly 28 lashes per eye. Your other lashes will also have been growing so some may now be much longer and looking out of place and messy. After your first appointment I recommend coming in after 2 weeks so we can determine how fast your lash cycle is.
If you have 60% or less it would be a 90 minute appointment. If you had 60% + coverage, 60 minutes. If your coverage is below 30% it will automatically count as a full set.

Are eyelash extensions worth it?
Before you get lash extensions you have to decide yourself if it’s something you want to invest in. The upkeep can be time consuming at times, but the get up and go feeling makes it so worth it in my opinion and lockdown showed me how much I can’t live without mine - careful they’re addictive!

What are Henna Brows?
Henna brows are a form of tinting that stains the skin and dyes the hair, using Indian Henna that creates the appearance of depth and fullness to the brows.
How long do Henna Brows last?
Henna brow tint can last up to 2 weeks on the skin and up to 6 weeks on the hair depending on skin type. If you have oily skin the tint may fade faster on the skin.
Whats the difference between Henna tint and normal Tint?
The difference is that Henna tint not only dyed the hair but also stains the skin. normal eyebrow tint you may have a stain on your skin for 24 hours, but it fades very quickly. Henna tint penetrates the hair follicle differently making it last longer than a normal tint.
Is this the same Henna I can get as a tattoo on holiday?
NO!! absolutely not, that “henna” is not the real deal and can be very damaging.
Are Henna Brows worth it?
Definitely if you want that insta brow look! Henna brows are perfect for low maintenance brows. Ideal for a holiday or event, one less thing to worry about!
What is Brow Lamination (Glaze)?
Brow Lamination is a two-step eyebrow perming treatment that corrects the brow shape by setting the hairs in the desired shape using a chemical solution.
How long does Brow Lamination last?
The results last about 6-8 weeks depending on natural growth cycle.
Does Brow Lamination damage brows?
If you follow aftercare and don’t get Brow Lamination too often, it won’t damage your brows.
LASH LIFT
What is a Lash Lift?
Lash Lift is a perming process for your eyelashes. Using chemicals it gently manipulates the natural lashes into the desired shape, straightening and lengthening the appearance of lashes.
How long does a Lash Lift last?
The affects of a lash lift can last about 6 weeks, This depends on your natural lash cycle.
Does a Lash Lift damage lashes?
If you follow aftercare and don’t get Lash Lift too often, it won’t damage your lashes.
Do I have to have a patch test?
Patch tests are ALWAYS recommended for every treatment, however it’s up to you and you can waiver the patch test on your consent form.

Is there parking?
Yes there is “pay by phone” parking on South Island place and Hackford Road, adjacent to my road. There is free parking on my road evenings from 6pm and weekends. Click here for more info how to get to us.
How long does the treatment last?
Full sets of lash extensions take up to 2 hours. Infills are then booked in either a 60 minute or 90 minute slot, depending on condition of lashes.
How do I pay my £20 deposit?
Deposits are for first time clients for your first appointment. You can pay the deposit directly here.
Can I fill in a consent form before my appointment?
Yes, please do! You can find all the consent forms here.
Can I have treatments done if I’m pregnant?
The only treatment I can perform safely would be threading, all other treatments are a no.
